The Gujarat University (GU) shall invite all the consultancy projects which shall be facilitated by the Gujarat University Consultancy Cell (GUCC).
GUCC shall be the nodal agency between the University and the other organisation to carry out all operational modalities led by the nodal officer appointed by GUCC.
Each consultancy and research project shall be managed by the nodal person appointed by the GUCC and the other organisation.
Before commencement of any consultancy or research work, GUCC shall develop a clear Terms of Reference (ToR) and arrive at appropriate compensation of the services with the other organisation.
Based on the scope of work and quantum of the delivery in the ToR, GUCC shall provide a firm quote for compensation for services to be rendered to the other organisation.
GUCC and other organisation shall enter into a formal understanding with necessary specific terms and conditions for execution of each ToR.
The Professor or Contributor shall need to have No-objection certificate (NOC) from the Head of the Department for each consultancy or research work assignment.
GU shall have a first right to avail or reject the research work or Intellectual Property Rights generated during the consultancy or research work.
GU shall be liable to get at least 30% of the total compensation and the rest of the compensation shall be managed by the GUCC according to professor's contribution.
